Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Linga Technologies, a sole proprietorship operated by Shiva Sharma Mathan in Tamil Nadu, India ("Danzify", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Danzify - AI Dance Maker (the "App").
Danzify creates AI dance videos from media you choose to provide. Please do not upload content that you do not have permission to use.
Information We Collect
- Device and account identifiers: Danzify creates an anonymous device identifier so the App can maintain your subscription status, coin balance, generation history, and active jobs.
- User-provided media: When you generate a video, you upload a photo and may upload a short reference video. We use these files to create the requested AI dance video.
- Generated content: We store generated videos and related job metadata so you can view, save, and share your results.
- Purchase and subscription information: Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement information, transaction-related metadata, and purchase state needed to unlock paid features and maintain coin balances.
- Usage and operational data: We may store generation status, selected dance reference, model tier, error messages, timestamps, and similar operational records needed to run, secure, debug, and improve the App.
- Support communications: If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message, such as your email address, in-app User ID, and description of the issue.
Face Data
User-provided photos and videos may contain a person's face. Danzify does not use Face ID, face recognition, face matching, identity verification, biometric templates, face embeddings, or face landmarks to identify a person. We do not create or store biometric identifiers from faces.
Face-containing media is used only to provide the App's AI dance video generation feature: you choose a photo and, where available, a short reference video, and Danzify uses that media to create the requested generated dance video.
Face-containing media may be processed by our service providers Cloudflare and fal.ai only as needed to host media temporarily, run the generation request, return the generated video, secure the service, and troubleshoot generation issues. We do not sell face data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Uploaded photos, uploaded custom reference videos, and generated videos are stored in Cloudflare storage. If your subscription expires, Danzify deletes uploaded photos, uploaded custom reference videos, and generated videos associated with your account after a 7-day grace period following the subscription expiration date. You may also delete your Danzify account data from Settings or request deletion by contacting us.
Information Stored Locally
The App stores some information on your device, including anonymous device/auth identifiers, onboarding state, active job state, local creation history, photo history, and similar settings. Some local identifiers may remain on your device unless you reset them in the App or remove them through device settings.
How We Use Information
- To provide AI video generation and return generated videos to you.
- To authenticate your device and maintain your in-app state.
- To process and verify subscriptions, purchases, restores, and coin balances.
- To provide customer support and respond to deletion or privacy requests.
- To prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, secure the App, and maintain backend services.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, platform, and App Store requirements.
AI Processing and Service Providers
Danzify uses third-party infrastructure and AI services to operate the App. User-provided media and generation metadata may be processed by our service providers only as needed to provide the requested functionality.
- Cloudflare: Backend hosting, database, queueing, and media storage.
- fal.ai: AI video generation from the media you upload. Where supported, Danzify requests limited provider retention for generation inputs and outputs.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase entitlement management.
- Apple: App Store purchases and platform services.
- GitHub Pages: Hosting for this legal and support website.
Photos, Videos, and Permissions
The App requests access to your photo library so you can choose media for generation and save generated videos. We do not access your photo library unless you grant permission through iOS. Media selected for generation is uploaded to our backend and processed for the requested output. The App does not use Face ID or any device biometric authentication feature.
Retention
We retain account, purchase, coin, and generation records for as long as needed to operate the App, support your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. If your subscription expires, Danzify deletes uploaded photos, uploaded custom reference videos, and generated videos associated with your account after a 7-day grace period following the subscription expiration date. If you use Delete Account & Data in Settings, Danzify deletes your account row, generation history, uploaded photos, uploaded custom reference videos, generated videos, coin ledger rows, and related app records. Some purchase records and limited operational records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or App Store compliance reasons.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the App, process purchases, generate videos, host data, provide support, comply with law, or protect our rights and users.
Children and Teens
Danzify is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian. The App is not directed to children under 13.
Your Choices and Rights
- You can deny or revoke photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can delete Danzify account data from Settings, or request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your in-app User ID by contacting us.
Data Deletion Requests
You can delete Danzify account data in the App from Settings > Delete Account & Data. This does not cancel an active Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings. You can also request deletion of Danzify data associated with your account or device by emailing shan.shiva@icloud.com and including your in-app User ID from Settings. We may need to retain limited records where required for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or App Store compliance reasons.
International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. By using the App, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed by service providers in other jurisdictions.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
